Presentations of 18 public administration bodies which participated in the 1st Fair of Student Internships in Public Administration 2021/2022, organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government with support of the EU-funded project "PAR Visibility and Communication", were visited by more than 2000 students over the 2 days, while more than 1000 of them visited the stands of the bodies and universities and got acquainted with the offer of internships in public administration in the school year 2021/2022.
The fair was held on 4 and 5 November using a modern online platform specially designed for this purpose, with a virtualized version of the Palace of Serbia, which enabled all visitors and students, but also members of academia and public administration bodies to have a dynamic internships fair, with a large number of simultaneous sessions, thematic forums and panels, visits to the stands of the bodies and universities participating in the Fair.
The Fair was attended by 18 public administration bodies (13 state bodies and 5 local self-governments), which provided almost 400 internships for students of the 5 public universities.
Internships in public administration bodies during the school year 2021/2022 are offered to students of the final year of undergraduate academic studies.
The digital platform for the Fair of Student Internships in Public Administration 2021/2022 will be active until the end of 2021 (it is available at www.strucnapraksa.mduls.gov.rs), so that anyone who is interested in student internships or wants to see the interior of the Palace of Serbia can do so.
Extensive technical support was provided to MPALSG in the preparation of the Fair by the EU-funded project "PAR Visibility and Communication". For several months, the entire project team was involved in the preparatory activities, including the realization of the Fair and its communication in the media.
